This is James from the picturesque Clonakilty in West Cork. He is a non identical twin (luckily for his twin!) Gerard also decided on a more traditional career path in the food industry to the joy of their parents, at least one of them has a “real” job!

James has been drawing for as long as he can remember and started drawing caricatures of people before he really knew such an art-form existed, luckily for him it did. In hindsight getting in trouble in school for drawing teachers and students served a purpose!

James graduated in 2013 from The Cork Institute of Technology with BA Hons Degree in Multimedia and after some travel across America, SE Asia & New Zealand, the calling for Self Employment in the art industry was too strong and he hasn’t looked back since.

James strives towards creating humorous yet complimentary & professional commissions, whether it’s a custom gift caricature from your photographs in his studio or entertaining people live at Weddings, Parties, Corporate Events etc. James loves nothing more than drawing everyday ….as well as typing in the third person.
